English
as a New Language (ENL)
English as a New Language (ENL) instruction is crucial in any elementary school as it provides essential support for students who are learning English as a new language. This instruction helps students develop their language skills, enabling them to fully participate in academic activities and communicate effectively within a supportive learning environment. We have 3 dedicated teachers to serve the needs of children who come to us from all around the world.
About the ENL Program
The population of English as a New Language students is steadily increasing, and we currently have two providers dedicated to meeting their needs. These providers offer a combination of push-in and pull-out services to support ENL students in their language development. Additionally, they collaborate with general education teachers, recognizing that these strategies are effective in supporting all students, regardless of their English language proficiency status.
