Partnerships
In order to provide our students with a well-rounded educative experience, we partner with various organizations to help our students examine different interests in life.
Studio in a School fosters the creative and intellectual development of New York City youth through quality visual arts programs, directed by arts professionals. The organization also collaborates with and develops the ability of those who provide or support arts programming and creative development for youth both in and outside of schools.

Studio in a School serves young people by integrating the visual arts into teaching and learning, and provides professional development for artists and teachers.

Students in K-5 receive arts instruction all year round and have their work showcased at Christie's.
Wellness in the Schools is a national nonprofit that teaches children healthy habits to learn, live and thrive. We partner with public schools, chefs and coaches to ensure access to nourishing food and active play. Our collaborative approach and programming aim to shift the culture of schools to prioritize well-being. Founded in 2005 by Nancy Easton and Bill Telepan, Wellness in the Schools reaches over one million public school students across the country every school day.

Grades K - 5 all participate in three week long WITS labs throughout the year in addition to various tastings.
Our Second Grade participates in the Learning Through Art (LTA) which is an educational program run by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (SRGM) Education Department. LTA is an artists-in-the-schools program that encourages teachers and teaching artists to design art projects that support student learning across the curriculum. LTA focuses on both looking at art and hands-on art making.

MMC is a music education nonprofit that provides free, one-on-one music instruction to students who wouldn’t otherwise have access to private lessons. Founded in 2009 by students at Columbia University, Musical Mentors Collaborative began as a small group of volunteer musicians—both amateurs and aspiring professionals—teaching free private lessons to elementary school students in Morningside Heights.
The 3rd Grade participates in The Nutcracker Project which is designed to promote individual and group artistic expression inspired by themes, choreography, and music from George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®. NYCB Teaching Artists and classroom teachers engage with students in interdisciplinary workshops and lessons.

Each class will attend a live NYCB performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® at Lincoln Center. The curriculum focuses on active art-making, collaboration, and critical reflection through poetry and creative movement.

We are so excited for the opportunity to work with the incredible students, staff, and parents of P.S. 145. Our company has grown from a handful of students at one after school program to now 30+ programs in five cities, working with over 500 students each week. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to alter the paths of students and inspire them in becoming lifelong language learners.

Our team has extensive mentoring and language tutoring experience in both China and The US, and has an intimate understanding of how to master the Chinese language. We have been debunking the myth that Mandarin is an impossibly difficult language to learn for over 10 years. We are eager to collaborate with the wonderful community at your school and hope that by creating the Mandarin program we can set your students on a path towards fluency and a deep appreciation of Chinese culture.
Since 2014, Major League Baseball has provided our school community a vehicle to celebrate milestones and outstanding work ethic.
Every year our students and teachers who demonstrate to have the best attendance are invited to the P.S. 145 Family Day at Yankee Stadium.
Additionally, our 5th Grade class is invited to a Mets Game as one of their many senior activities.
